Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter & Wall Specialist to join our team. This role involves interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, wallpaper installation/removal, surface preparation, and finishing work. The ideal candidate takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship, maintains clean job sites, and delivers excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Surface Preparation

  • Protect floors, furniture, and surrounding areas
  • Scrape, sand, patch, and prime surfaces
  • Repair drywall (holes, cracks, seams, texture matching)
  • Caulk trim, baseboards, windows, and doors
  • Remove wallpaper and prep walls for finishing

Painting & Finishing

  • Apply paints, primers, stains, and coatings using brush, roller, and sprayer
  • Cut in clean lines and maintain consistent finishes
  • Paint cabinets, doors, trim, soffit, fascia, and exterior surfaces
  • Match existing textures and finishes
  • Ensure smooth, professional final appearance

Wall & Specialty Work

  • Install wallpaper and wall coverings
  • Perform texture application and repairs
  • Install and repair trim, baseboards, and minor carpentry as needed
  • Work with different wall substrates (drywall, plaster, wood, brick, etc.)

Job Site Management

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Follow safety procedures and ladder/scaffolding safety standards
  • Communicate clearly with clients and team members
  • Complete jobs on schedule

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional painting or wall repair experience preferred
  • Knowledge of surface prep, coatings, and proper application techniques
  • Experience with sprayers and fine finish work is a plus
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work on ladders
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Strong attention to detail and work ethic
  • Criminal Background Check

Preferred Skills

  • Cabinet refinishing experience
  • Wallpaper installation/removal experience
  • Drywall finishing (Level 4–5 finish capability)
  • Experience working in residential occupied homes
  • Ability to estimate small repair scopes

Compensation & Benefits
