Application Support Engineer

EcoPlant is seeking an Application Support Engineer to enable the company’s expansion in the United Stated by delivering excellent customer service, installation of Ecoplant’s IoT systems, and providing technical and analytical insights. As a foundational member of the US Customer Success team, this role will have direct access to company leadership and be responsible for bringing impact and return on investment to EcoPlant’s customer base.


The activities of this role will be divided into three categories:

  • Integration

o Integration with existing sensors Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, Profibus, CanBus)

o Integration with SCADA systems

o Interface with R&D team in Israel and contribute to company and product scalability by providing insight on customer challenges and solutions

  • Installation/Configuration

o Installation of air-flow meter, pressure, power, dew-point

o Hot tap flow sensors

o Cable wiring – Ethernet, Serial, Discrete IO

o Router Configuration

  • Customer Support and Partners Training

o Customer success

  • Review customer system and provide value add insights to customers based on their compressor performance

o Site Survey –

  • Conduct site surveys on pre-sale to define install needs
  • Generate equipment list for install, the place required orders
  • Collect Insights – Savings opportunities

o Partners Training

  • Write manuals
  • Training of service providers technicians


  • At least 5 years’ experience in sensors installation, electrical, wiring
  • Proven experience in the compressed air industry
  • Proven experience working with customers
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time
