Position Overview
The CDL Bus Operator serves as a professional driver responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable transportation services. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, ensuring passengers have a safe and positive transit experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate transit buses along assigned routes
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers
- Respond to rider questions and assist with transportation needs
- Maintain schedule adherence and route efficiency
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- CDL preferred, but paid training is provided to obtain CDL
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay: $19.80 – $33.00
