Responsibilities included:
- Operate companies’ vehicle safely and courteously, following all rules and regulations of the road.
- Pre-plan deliveries and routes to ensure maximum efficiency and meet customers deadlines.
- Inspect and secure all orders in the vehicle, comparing product to the paperwork to ensure order accuracy.
- Note any discrepancies or customer issues and report them to the Warehouse Manager in a timely manner.
- Load and unload cargo from truck in a safe manner.
Task
1. Ability to inform regular customers of new products or services and price changes.
2. Listen to and resolve customers’ complaints regarding products or service.
3. Review lists of dealers, customers, or station drops and load trucks.
4. Ability to read, decode and decipher freight coding to expedite freight movement and tracing process.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience in delivery position preferred.
- Ability to interact with customers and fellow team members in a friendly and professional manner.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
