We are seeking motivated and experienced Commercial Roofing Sales Representatives to join our growing team at our newly opened Clayton, OH location and our headquarters in Fremont, OH.
Position Summary
The Commercial Roofing Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, managing customer relationships, conducting site evaluations, preparing proposals, and closing commercial and industrial roofing projects. This role requires a self-driven professional with strong sales skills and industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Self-generate new sales opportunities through prospecting and networking
- Perform cold calling, site evaluations, and customer visits
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate roofing solutions
- Develop, prepare, and present proposals and bids
- Close commercial and industrial roofing projects
- Maintain and grow existing house accounts
- Process sales orders, bids, and job information packages
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals established by Sales Manager
- Routinely walk roof sites and work at elevated heights
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Qualifications
- Commercial roofing knowledge and experience required
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience
- At least 2 years of commercial roofing experience preferred
- Proven success selling high-end services in a competitive market
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
- Excellent listening, communication, and consultative selling abilities
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team
