An extension of the Job Center, the Employment Opportunity Center offers access to job search help, training opportunities, free community gathering spaces and more. Computers are available for public use with access to high-speed internet; there is also equipment to fax, copy, print and scan documents.
In a partnership with Sinclair’s Computer Information Systems Program, we offer an IT Apprenticeship Program that allows you to make money while learning valuable information technology skills. Participants attend classes where they learn everything needed to get into networking, software development, cyber security and other in-demand fields; after learning the basics, they can begin working with a local IT company and earning a paycheck.
