Montgomery County’s Mobile Workforce Unit is bringing job search and training help throughout the county. An extension of the job services available at The Job Center (at 1111 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd. in Dayton), we will be able to help people with resumes, job searches, and finding the right training for careers that are in demand at locations across Montgomery County, Ohio.
If you need help building or polishing your resume, learning about open job positions (we recruit for companies all over the county), or just about how to search for and find jobs in your field, our workforce staff will be available at the Mobile Workforce Unit as it tours our county.
We can also help process applications for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) training funds at the Mobile Workforce Unit. Through WIOA, if you’ve been laid off or meet income eligibility (listed here), we can pay up to $15,000 for you to get trained in an industry with high demand for workers.
