Pay $20-$33 an hour
Full Tine 1st or 3rd Shift- 48 Hours a week

  • Operate and monitor 3-axis, 4-axis, and/or 5-axis CNC mills and CNC lathes in a precision manufacturing environment.
  • Load raw material and verify correct fixtures, tooling, and programs prior to production runs.
  • Start machines and observe operations to detect malfunctions, improper setups, or out-of-tolerance conditions.
  • Perform machine setups, tool changes, and offset adjustments with minimal supervision.
  • Independently make wear offsets and geometry adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements.
  • Recognize tool wear, breakage, or machine issues before quality is impacted.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T callouts, routers, setup sheets, and inspection documentation.
  • Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges, height gauges, optical comparators, and surface plate inspections.
  • Perform in-process inspections and document inspection results accurately.
  • Maintain tight tolerances commonly required in the medical device manufacturing industry.
  • Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO standards, and company quality procedures.
  • Monitor tooling life and usage to maximize efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S and safety standards.
  • Communicate production concerns, tooling issues, machine downtime, and quality concerns to supervisors and adjacent shifts.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, scrap reduction, setup reduction, and productivity improvements.
  • Authorized to stop production processes to ensure product quality and compliance requirements are met.
  • Work overtime and flexible schedules as required to support customer demand.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
