Job Summary:
The Part-Time Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. This role involves monitoring premises, enforcing rules and regulations, and responding promptly to incidents.
Hourly Pay Range: $13.00-$18.00
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security of property and personnel.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, access points, and alarms.
- Enforce company policies, rules, and regulations.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies, incidents, or suspicious activity.
- Prepare clear and accurate incident reports.
- Assist employees and visitors with security-related concerns.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous security experience preferred.
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
- Ability to respond quickly to emergencies.
- Occasionally lift or move light equipment.
Will be required to complete motor vehicle check, criminal background and drug screen.
