Montgomery County hosting virtual job fair with more than 70 local employers

Registration is open for Montgomery County’s Summer Job Fair, which will be held virtually on Wednesday, June 23 from noon to 4 p.m.

The Virtual Summer Job Fair will host more than 70 local companies with current job openings. Anyone interested in joining the event is encouraged to register ahead of time. Early registration will allow participants to complete a profile prior to the event and maximize the time available to meet with companies.

“Our local businesses have hundreds of job opportunities,” said Montgomery County Commission President Judy Dodge. “Many people are still out of work because of the pandemic, and events like this will help make those connections between employers and workers. If anyone needs help preparing for the event, please contact our staff. We are here to help.”

There is no cost to attend the Virtual Summer Job Fair. A list of companies and the link to register is available at www.TheJobCenter.org/JobFair. This event fulfills Ohio’s work search requirement to receive unemployment benefits.

Montgomery County’s Workforce Development Department is always available to help people through their job search. To get help, visit www.TheJobCenter.org or call (937) 225-5627.
