About YouthWorks: Since its inception in 1999, Montgomery County Workforce Development’s YouthWorks Program has provided career preparation opportunities for the youth of Montgomery County.

YouthWorks is more than a summer work experience. We are a year-round program for youth aged 14 and up, who are full-time enrolled in school and are residents of Montgomery County. YouthWorks supports and prepares youth with programming aimed at eliminating barriers to education and career goals. By providing the 14 elements of service, alongside our case management component, our goal is to transition youth into the workforce of tomorrow.
